Livery

On The Bit offers several livery options. In addition to the on-site stable facilities there is sufficient acreage for all year turnout, and liveries may be included in the herd or provided separate paddocks as need be. For more information take a look at our Yard Facilities.

We aim to offer flexibility in the livery services we provide. If you have any special requirements or feel that what we offer doesn’t quite meet your needs then give us a call and let us know - we will try our very best to accommodate you.

Full Livery

Includes:

· A turnout paddock for your horse during the day

· Stabled at night

· Full muck out each day

· Any necessary change of rugs

· Feet picked daily

· Lightly groomed

· Given any feeds

· Exercised twice / week either in the ménage or out on a hack

Part Livery (5 days)

A flexible and popular option, the services provided here are as per Full Livery but you will be responsible for your horse for two days per week. On these two days On The Bit will turn out and bring in your horse if required.

Grass Livery (Holiday liveries only)

Includes:

· A paddock for your horse, with water and shelter

· Each day your horse will be checked over

· Feet picked

· Lightly groomed

· Given any feeds

Insurance, Veterinary & Farrier

Owners are required to have their own public liability insurance and are responsible for any emergency vet or farrier fees incurred whilst in livery. All horses must be fully vaccinated and up to date with worming prior to arrival.

Please Note: Unfortunately due to health and safety reasons, stallions cannot be accepted.
